Chongqing General Industry (Group)Co., Ltd (referred as CQGI) is subsidiary of Chongqing Machinery & Electronics Holding (Group) Co. Ltd (referred as CME).

The company’s predecessor was founded in 1913 in Shanghai, after over hundred years development, now it becomes a large state enterprise based on centrifugal turbo machinery as the main products.

CQGI has five production bases in China, covering total area of one million square meters, about 2000 employees, registered capital of 515 million Yuan (equal to 77 million US Dollars), total assets of more than 2.6 billion Yuan.

The company is specialized in designing, manufacturing and selling centrifugal fans, blowers,compressors, refrigeration and air-conditioning system, environmental protection complete set equipment and engineering, wind turbine blades, class I andclass II pressure vessels.

CQGI has about 2500 sets various producing and test equipment from German, Italy, Switzerland, Denmark and China, is competent to machining most of the parts for our products and assemble the equipment unit in the workshop.

Besides, the company has the turbo engineering inspection and test service center, large-size centrifugal compressor module test platform in the southwest of China, performance test stand of water chillers with the largest cooling capacity and the highest temperature in China. We have intelligent inspection and test platform of centrifugal fan and blower, so we have production capacity of manufacturing high-end equipment with accuracy machining, monitoring and inspection analysis, test of final assembly etc.

◆ In 1938, The factory moved to Chongqing from Shanghai, named as Shunchang Steel (Chongqing) Plant
◆ In 1953, The factory was renamed as Chongqing General Machinery Factory as a joint state-privately operated corporation
◆ In 1997, The factory acquired a refrigeration company and Chongqing General Industry (Group) Co., Ltd was founded
◆ In 2009, The factory was relocated to Chayuan Industrial Zone in Nan’an district of Chongqing
◆ In 2011, The factory acquired Da’an Chenfei wind power equipment Co. Ltd., built the first off-site production base
◆ In 2013, Entitled of “National Enterprise Technology Center”.
